Connecting field pg m4 to s7 200 224

I'm trying to connect a field pg m4 to a s7 200 224 cpu to no avail. Can I use an MPI cable to do this. One was supplied with the pg. Grateful for any help thanks.

vipz Gold Member Joined: 9/2/2012 Last visit: 9/25/2025 Posts: 712 Rating: (30)	Hai, In m4 pg, communication card is CP 5711 ( Earlier till M3 was CP5611). ofcourse you can use mpi cable. if your plc is configured with 9.8kb speed, try with CP5711 PROFIBUS, on other speeds you can use CP5711 mpi. regards VIPZ
