up and down counter

I found out how to build a up/down counter, but what i really would like is that by decreasing it will go from 0 to 4 So in my example: increasing 0-1-2-3-4-0-1-2-3-4-0-1-2-3-4 etc etc :decreasing 4-3-2-1-0-4-3-2-1-0-4-3-2-1-0 etc etc My counter will do the first line but will stop at zero with decreasing from 4 to 0 It must be a simple solution but can't get my head around it Thanks and kind regards: Rob Attachment up down.zip (214 Downloads)

What I wanted is 4 text screens on my logoTD and by using the C1 and C4 buttons scroll thruthem. that means scroll up and down and round clockwise and anti-clockwise. I hope I explained it well enough... And if the solution is still in the shiftbit reg. then please give me another clue. Kind regards Rob

Hello Hendry01, please take a look on the code of the following completed application example: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/64143308 I think there is released for the text messages exactly what you want to do.The only difference is, that in the examples the F-key buttons are used instead of the C buttons. But you can just adjust at this point the code for your needings. When you have other questions don't hesitate to ask. Greetings, KM_AS

Hendry01 Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Hello KM, This example is exactly what I encountered. Take a close look at the program. It will go from page ....8 to 9 to 10 to 0 to 1 to 2 etc but it will NOT go down from page 0 to 10. Kind regards Rob
