Mr Khan Posts: 40 Rating: (0)	Dear All I am facing a prob that i got a new laptop which dont have any RS232 (DB9 male connector) .so for calibrating siwarex U i need a rs232 port kindly suggest any way to commmuncate with siwarex U ar suggest any convertor for it ...as so far i have also checked a convertor but it does't work .

beserb Posts: 52 Rating: (4)	I have used USB-RS232 converter for Siwarex communication before. Problem might be your converter. Have you tried it to connect some other serial interface devices? Are you sure that it is OK? Second thing to check is the connection at Siwarex side. You can find the connection diagram in Siwarex manual.

kush Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	when you install your convertor it will generate a new com port no in siwarex tool you have to mention that com port no.If still it didnt work then try with another type of rs232 to usb convertor and install its drivers.
