Hi, I just typed in 80030002 and find two results. This one and this one. Both threads will not offer you a complete solution, but you can ask yourself the following; - Did you install the hotfix and or patch? - Is it on all pc's the same? If you instaleld the hotfix and patch you can open a service request as Nemo states in one of the threads. Please post the solution in here when you find it, so others can benefit from it aswell. with regards, Ikkezelf |

Hi, We had this exact same error in a computer here. There's nothing in the diagnose folder that could help, and WinCC has been un-installed and re-installed, with no help. We proceeded as amateur described, and not much has changed: the error message, which used to have the code 80030002, got a new code: 80030003, but the message is the same! We had already checked the threads Ikkezelf posted, but on the first one an unsupported workaround is suggested, which could do even more harm, and the second one doesn't have much info... I've also already seen this thread, which didn't help much either... Until last week, this computer had v6.0 SP3 HF2... it worked for a while, then the user got the error, uninstalled and re-installed WinCC, and worked again for a while. Then he'd have that problem again, uninstall WinCC, re-install it... and that went on and on for a long time... Last week, the system was upgraded to v6.0 SP4. The computer also has Step7 v5.4 SP1, ProTool, and some other Siemens software (it's a development and technical assistance notebook, so there must be several tools). Right after the upgrade, WinCC couldn't be opened, and DimiCamp solved that by disabling McAfee... I've asked the user to uninstall McAfee, uninstall WinCC and re-install it... If that doesn't work, I'm affraid I'll have to ask him to format the computer... but we're trying to save this as our last option... So... does anyone have any ideas? Best regards, Danielle |
