Hello All

Attached is my drawing of what I have - a picture tells a 1k words etc.

I have 2 independent machines - the projects will be a copy and paste of each other as they are identical.

Both local panels are connected via profibus.

My problem is how I network the remote panel to the 2 different machines. As I can fathom, I cant network the HMI with Profibus and Ethernet at the same time. The remote panel only controls a fraction of the variables of the main machines.

Is the solution to link both machines together via profibus and assign different node numbers in the project or is there an easier way?

My Scout version is 4.4 HF5

Screens are MP277 10" touch V2

WinCC SP3 ud5

I am not keen to link both machines via 1 DP but if that the only way then so be it. 

Any advice appreciated.
