He wishes to get info off these controllers to display on WinCC (which he has on site). Does anybody know of how I could communicate to this controller. I see there is Modbus 485 and Modbus on Ethernet, does WinCC support any of these? If anyone could help in any way I would appreciate it. Regards Philip

Would this comms be possible via WinCC's Modbus TCPIP Driver (which is incorporated into WinCC v7.0). I am trying to get as much info as possible before these units arrive, to prepare the customer for the requirements. Regards Philip

Use the "Support Request" link in the Contact window (above right hand side). CMOS Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	DesignTech, I am quite familiar with the 353 and 353R formerly known as the Procidia or IPAC. I had two 353R running parallel lo-medium pressure water tube boilers (Cleaver Brooks & Keller / 45000lb/hr each@ 130psig header) at a chemical plant. If you could tell me through IConfig hat version 2.1 or V3.0 you are running would help also the exact model number of the 353's. Modbus is possible if the card is installed usually a LIL/Modbus card wich must use a jumper shunt for modbus. Also, your parity for Moore must be 8,none and 1. Default baud rate unless modified is 19.2Kb unless changed. You can access this throught the front faceplate by step-down functions. Kind regards, CMOS
