I have build a running avarage in a register. What i want it do is that the program will write every new value in the first output of the array for example: every new value must be in the first array [0] and when the array is full it has so delete the last array [9]. What it does now is it continue writing  for example: het got a value and writes is to array [0] next value to array[1] etc. and when it reaches the last array it goes back to array[0]. 

 translation: Tijd=time / gemeten tijd= measured time / gemiddele tijd= average time

How my code looks like now:

#Som := #Som - #Tijd[#Index];

#Tijd[#Index] := #"Gemeten Tijd";

#Som := #Som + #Tijd[#Index];

#Index:=#Index+1;

IF #Index = #IndexGrootte THEN

    #Index := 0;

END_IF;

IF #Teller < #IndexGrootte THEN

    #Teller := #Teller + 1;

END_IF;

IF #Teller > 0 THEN

    #"Gemiddelde Tijd" := DINT_TO_INT(#Som / #Teller);

END_IF;

Hope you can understand what I mean cause my english is not that fantastic.

Hi Rob.

I am still concerned with the mix of data types you have there. Just make sure that it does not cause you problems later.

The easiest way would be to have a block move instruction to simulate a "shifting" action of values:
- block move Array#1 element 0 - 8 to Array#2into element 1 - 9
- (back again) Array#2into element 1 - 9 to Array#1 element 1 - 9
- write NewValue into Array#1 element 0

(OPTIONAL)
You do not have too many values to work through, when having more values.. it can becomes tricky.

Hi, 

if you are sure that your buffer is circular, you should consider removing all those stuffs your wrote, use an array of any type you want and simply play with indexes (using any to access arrays elements...)
