How to add SIMATIC PC Station to the STEP7 ( Insert -> Station -> SIMATIC PC Station).

Because, it is absent there as a point. How to add it there???  

Even If I want to make new project I can't find it there.

I know that STEP7 demands:

1) Simatic PC Station;

2) CP5512 hardware STEP7;

How can help the project I can't imagine.

And how to identify the necessary parts by the code ID from the screenshots above in topic?

i think the problem is the simatic net installation.

I can open the project on my sytem without any problem.

No missing SW Packages!

Have you installed simatic net before or after you install step7?

Of course, it was installed with STEP7. Then I installed Simatic NET 12. But the problem remained unsolved.

I also haven't got missing parts on my Virtual Machine. But on the host have it. Versions are the same, something strange is going on...(

i open the project on my Systems:
System 1 : WinXP +  Step7 V5.5 SP4 + SimaticNet V7.1 -> OK
System 2: Win7 + Step7 V5.5 SP4 HF11  +Simatic Net V13 SP1 -> OK

I think something go wrong with your installation, you should uninstall and reinstall the SW Packages.

the PC Station in the HWCatalog is included in the Step7 Package.

Something is wrong with you installation so that the PC Station components disappeared.

We ask you often for a list of installed SW but only get named packages and not the exact installed software. A exact list can be exported with the program s7aversx then all packages with all release infoiramtions can be stored in a CSV file.

No information which operation system is used ....

The Error message from the Station Configurator after import the XDB is simple that you haven't plugged a CP5512 in you system or?

Windows 7 Professional, 32 bit.

CP5512 is installed. It isn't installed to STEP7 Hardware that's why the warning is showed.

can you provide the information vom msinfo32 and s7aversx (run the commands in a cmd shell and save the results)

Command "s7aversx" doesn't work at cmd.

OS is attached below.

The problem solved by reinstalling STEP7 in the proper way.

p.s. Version of STEP7 has no meaning for this problem...

The problem due to wrong installation which can be caused by old PC hardware.
