Hi there!!

What kind of Tia Portal event button option is in the F3 ProTools button in the picture attachment? I dont know if it is "Set bit", "set bit while key is pressed"...etc etc. 

I have a ProTools project,i converted it useing the migration option to Tia Portal but somehow the buttons were not converted so i dont know what function i have to put in the buttons like F3.

I think we need to know ewhat kind of Panel you are using. It look like you have converted a OP7. You need to convert it to a Panel wich is availeble now.

You have alle the types of events you are asking, Try to open TIA WinCC and see.

 How do i convert it to a panel? the project is OP17

I just need to know what kind of fuction is in the ProTools project so i can make the buttons in Tia Portal

I opened the ProTools file in WinCC and the buttons are not converted aswell.

Just the buttons that have that fuction are not converting i dont know why,the other buttons like the ones to change sreens and that are converted.

Hello Fabio,

I guess, that the old panel from the ProTool-project had hardware function keys. When you have to use the project in TIA you should use a KTP which has hardware function keys, too.

I am using but the buttons were not well converted i think,because it says "set bit while key is pressed" and i dont know if thats the right convertion. Thats why i am asking when you program that in protools like the image that i showed, what is the button doing.

 Dear Fabio,

two points:

1) you can't make a project with OP17 in TIA-Portal. The product life cycle ended in year 2007. This device is not available in the hardware catalog. Only the OP series 70 and OP 170 series can be programmed. You need WinCC flexible 2008.

2) a direct migration from proTool two TIA Portal is not possible. First you have migrate to WinCC flexible (link). The you have to migrate from WinCC flexible to TIA WinCC (link).

I give you the advertise to buy a new Panel.

1 - I know that,i am converting that HMI to a new version of HMI.

2 - I did that,i converted to WinCC and then to TIA Portal

in your first post you attached a screenshot showing several tabs - when you open the functions tab, it should show what the ProTool project did with the linked tag.
