My problem is the values are not being updated on the KTP 600 HMI. all digitals are fine. it is all the analogs that are staying zero yet when i go online i find the correct values on PLC. Not used to this. can anyone please help!

I face some problem with the Real value display on Runtime. I believe runtime and HMI should be not much different in programming.

I have attached some picture for your references. The Runtime only support up to 99.999, which mean 2 digits before decimal point. If that possible to make it show up to 4 digits? example, 9999.9

The second question is regarding to the time value.
I see the PLC display 17s935ms, But the HMI is 17935, As i know 17 is the seconds. Is that any method to display only 17 without 935 behind? I have try by divide with 1000 and display the int, but this method will consume a lot address if a lot timer need to display.
Is that any direct method to do it by setting from Runtime program?

for displaying the real value, you can enter the format pattern manually instead of selecting it from the list.

Concerning your second question, maybe you can edit the tag already on the PLC and send just "17" to the HMI.

Thanks for your reply. I had key in manually for the real value format and it work.

I have attached with the timer picture. I had try to change the PLC tag from Dint to Time, but it will display with 5 digit also.

%MD1000 is input for time delay. (Actually can use %MW to save memory address)
Normally if we direct key in 20, it will automatic become 20ms. If we need 20s, we must key in 20s to timer. From the HMI, it is not convenient to user key in 20000 to represent 20S, so I do multiply with 1000 and put it into Timer. Any other method can solve this problem?

In reverse way, i also divide the value from the Timer output.
%MD5004 is output from Timer, and after divide 1000, show in %MW6002.

Any solution for this?

there you can use the Linear scaling in the properties of the HMI-tag.

Thanks for your suggestion. I see this post before but I think most easier way is Linear Scaling from HMI Tag suggest by the prof. Frink.

The reason is because it no need to consume a lot of memory address in the PLC to make the function block.

I though this scaling is under the properties of I/O field, but it hide under properties of the HMI Tag.

Anyway, you had help me solve those problem. Hope other newbie like me can learn from this post too.
