Hello. Like the S7-300 and S7-400, the S7-1200 and S7-1500 are related to each other in base design concepts. The design of the S7-1200 and S7-1500 uses a paradigm closer related to computers. User code is on a "higher" execution level than the legacy STL was in the S7-300 and S7-400.
Not true. The S7-1200 is not design related to the S7-200. The S7-200 was not designed by Siemens Germany. The S7-200 SMART is the real follow-up of the legacy S7-200. Outside China and India S7-1200 is marketed and presented as {incompatible} replacement of the S7-200. SUMMERY May 2018 be prosperous for all your ventures. |
