Hello mirip; Let's start by clarifying a few points, this will make the conclusion easier to appreciate. On a Profibus network, a Siemens operator panel acts as a Profibus class 2 master, whereas the PLC acts as a master class 1. Look at these brief descrptions form Automation.com: Introduction to Profibus-DP - Automation.comClass 1 Master –
Class 2 Master –
So the OP does not appear on the PLC's Profibus network as a slave (it is a master... class 2); and all the data exchanges between the PLC and the OP (including the tags that will be exchanged with the PLC) are configured in the ProTool (or WinCC Flexible, or WinCC TIA Portal) program. There is nothing in the Step 7 configuration about the operator panel communications with the PLC. Now, for the consequence and conclusion: without the original operator panel program you have no tool to re-establish the Profibus link with the PLC. If the operator panel has been corrupted, you must downlaod a new configuration to the panel before the link to the PLC is restored. Silly question: have you tried powering down the OP? It has happened in some of our projects that on restart the panel would read the original configuration and start up correctly. Then again, in many cases it would not, if the damage to the program was too great.. What software was used to program the OP 177B? Do you have it on your PC? You have the option of uploading with Prosave (found on the software CDs, or downloaded from the forum Profuct Support), but the uploaded program is compiled, cannot be opened with your programming software, and can only be transferred to a similar operator panel (same part number). If the original programmer allowed for a "back transfer", you could transfer it back to your programming software and open it, modify it and restore it to your OP. Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |

Hello mirip first of all: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/28928853 Then the next step: The "USB PC adapter" and "USB PC adapter A2" are releasedonlyfor the devices below for project downloads and operating system updates.
Perhaps it works with a siutable CP5711 or something else. Or you do the backup to MMC Card directly on the panel. But also with the Backup file you cannot do changes of the Project. The Backup includes only Runtime Files, no Project files! Bye Murof |
