Is there any technical reason of not being conducting premium campaigns since two years.

unfortunately we are not planning a new campaign at the moment. The last few times it caused unrest in the community and had no added value for the users and the forum in general.

A silent campaign might meet both ends of the spectrum's comments and concerns.

Those that wish there were a campaign get one.  Those that believe the craziness in the forums during visible campaigns do not see it because nobody knows about the campaign.

This gives an honest treatment to the forum participants and could potentially reward participation.  The only suggestion I would make if such an endeavor were to happen is to have it go for an entire month.  That would allow anyone engaged in mission critical or direct customer-facing efforts during any given week to still participate 2-3 weeks during any silent campaign.

Hello huggy_d1,

the real purpose of the campaign should be to inspire the user for more (meaningful) participation in the forum.
But this is not possible with a silent campaign.

And a month has no statement, as would have taken a long period of time.

I'll let you in on a little insider secret:

Campaign is already on and goes for the whole year.

It is so secret though that not even the Moderators know about it and there won't be any prices or winners declared at the end of it either.
