EM277 -> 416-3DP No comms

alindsay Posts: 45 Rating: (0)	Hi all, I have added a EM277 module to a 224xp and added this to my 416-3DP cpu as per the EM277 manual. I can go online with the 416 and can see the s7-200/EM277 station but no data can be read from the 224xp's v-memory I have mapped some values to the v-memory starting at V200 In the 416 i have offset v-memory @ 200 EM277 Power LED is on Green EM277 DX Mode LED is on Green All should be OK yet i can read no data in the 416 Should i be able to view data from HWConfig if i go 'monitor/modify' on the EM277 ?

alindsay Posts: 45 Rating: (0)	Thanks for your reply, Yes i have followed that document and you are correct it is exactly the same for s7-400 to the EM277 i have added 16 Words Out / 16 Words In When i view with 'monitor/modify' in hwconfig all i see is 0 in every address on the 16 Words Out / 16 Words In I have checked in the 224 and values do exist in the v-memory

marcsinclair Posts: 49 Rating: (5)	I add this network to all the machines I use with an EM277, it gives an immediate status of the DP link, otherwise it is very difficult to see if the HOST is actually looking at the correct memory.
