First of all, welcome to the forum.

1.) All three devices (LOGO !, TDE and PC / Laptop) must be in the same IP address space (subnet), e.g. 192.168.000.xxx. xxx is the address of the individual devices.
The subnet mask, on the other hand, must be the same for all three devices, 255,255,255,000.
You only have to enter the gateway address if you connect the devices via a gateway (for example, a router). Then the gateway address would be the IP address of the router.
Example:
Router: IP = 192.168.000.001, subnet mask = 255.255.255.000
PC / Laptop: IP = 192.168.000.010, subnet mask = 255.255.255.000
LOGO !: IP = 192.168.000.003, subnet mask = 255.255.255.000, gateway address = 192.168.000.001.
LOGO !: IP = 192.168.000.004, subnet mask = 255.255.255.000, gateway address = 192.168.000.001.

2.) So that the LOGO! and the TDE can communicate with each other, the TDE must enter the address data of the LOGO! know. You set this in the TDE in the main menu under the menu item LOGO! Selection.

3.) If you create a LOGO! Program, you have to select a LOGO! 8.FS4 in the hardware selection for the new LOGO! 8.2.
