I am facing problem with the installation of Wincc 7.4 and Simatic manager 5.5 on same PC (Windows10 Pro).

I formated the PC and Installed Step7 5.5 and found it is working then i installed Wincc 7.4 and simatic net v14. But when i activate runtime of wincc system it does not communicate with PLC. at the same time when i check SetPG/PC interface i can not see any access point. And when i deactivate run time then again i can see all acesspoints in set pg/pc interface. i have checked if i install only wincc 7.4 then it works fine. Please tell if both software can run on same PC or something i m missing.

Could you give the exact version information?

Regarding to the compatibility tool it should work, but it depends which Updates / Hotfixes are installed.

If you have the latest updates it should work fine.

Also there were some incompatibilities with some Windows 10 builds which also required the latest Service Packs and Updates.
