Tim, I have seenNIM32 stop responding, when using the "Control Simulator" or "Control Engine". Restarting the NIM32 service does notsolve the problem.The only way I have been able to recover is to reboot the PC and then re-start each simulated controller. To address peer to peer communications, you can use the "Control Engine" instead of the "Control Simulator". It is alicensed item,but this is the only way for you to simulate an ACM and communicate, via Mbus or Mnet, to differentI/O servers. The ControlEngine also supportsthe serial ports on the host PC, for MODBUS communications.
