Hello, Please refer attached sheet. You can connect external pot & wire up so that by varing analog speed reference, motor speed can be varied. Since your present drive is running with analog inputs, I think drive parameters will be same & you do not require to modify those, only external pot needs to be wire up. Please check & confirm DIP switch setting on drive is same as mentioned in attached sheet. Also since this drive is controlled via CNC/PLC its PLC logic needs to be check if programer has written logic to check drive speed deviation ( if difference limit between set speed & actual speed is set in PLC) then in this case, CNC/PLC will trigger speed deviation alarm/fault as CNC/PLC is not sending any set speed comand where as drive speed feedback is read in PLC. thanks sir, i used 10k pot. now it works fine. dip switch was both off at vfd. |
