Transferring a programme on a LOGO 6ED1 052-1HB00-0BA6 to a 6ED1052-1HB08-0BA0

ChrisAth24 Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hi we have had a request from a customer about transferring a programme on a LOGO 6ED1 052-1HB00-0BA6 to a 6ED1052-1HB08-0BA0. The software we are using is LOGO V8 Demo version. I have managed to get the programme from 0BA6 by comparing it and copy and pasting onto a black sheet, then I have tried copying the 4 firmware files and programme onto a Micro SD card and putting it into the 0BA0 while it is powered down, so far I have been unsuccessful. Any help or step by step guide you could give me would be most appreciated, is it possible to do this with a demo version of the software and do both part numbers need to match for this to be compatible? I have also included a copy of the original programme. The demo version is V8.0 and only knows the LOGO! 0BA8 of the first generation, the 0BA8.Standard. The LOGO!s, whose order numbers end with 08-0BA0, are the current LOGO! 8.2. In the device selection corresponds it to a LOGO!8.FS4. This selection is not available in the demo version. To be able to program a LOGO!8.FS4, you need at least LSC V8.1 (full version). In order to be able to use all functions, at least LSC V8.2. The best would be the current LSC V8.2.1. If you have an older LSC full version, you can upgrade to LSC V8.2.1 for free. Edit: Has the buyed LOGO! the firmware V1.82.02, then is a firmwareupdate not possible, because it is the current firmware version.

I managed to get a link for the download of the demo version from a Siemens forum so this is the first time I have had to use the software. Cheers Chris

Soft Comfort V8.2 (DVD) Order number 6ED1058-0BA08-0YA1 For example here: Siemens V8 PLC Programming Software for use with LOGO! 8 Series for Kernel 3.0.76, Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard, Mac OS X You can also check on Ebay if you can get a cheaper, older full version.

However i cant seem to connect to the 6ED1052-1HB0B-0BA0 through ethernet, the full version of software is V8.0.0, how do i update it to the most recent version? I have been trying Help, Update Centre then file source the internet and using the link that comes up www.siemens.com/LOGO-update, but it comes up a connection cannot be established to the address entered. The Update Center from LSC is unfortunately not working. You can download the update to the current version of Windows here: LOGO! Soft Comfort V8.2 SP1 (download, notes, instructions) It is a 1.3 GB complete package. After the download, start the setup of the update as an Administrator.
