The current MQTT Publisher link https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/de/view/109748872  shows the library supports both s7-1200 & 1500.

Note that for secure messaging, the s7-1500 is required.

Got the issue 80C4 solved?? :/

After (1-2sec) receiving a message from a subscribed Topic (not published by PLC itself) im getting an 80C4 :(

When i publish from PLC, the message is received correctly and no error occures.

First of all, thanks for your hard work and sharing. I just tested with your S7-1200 demo project, and ran into some problems which may need your help.

1. It will automatically disconnect if there's no topic being published to broker over 3 secs(I guess it's because WatchDogTimer is always set to 3 sec). Is there any way to avoid disconnection even if there's no topic coming or publishing? I looked up the error code, and it shows 16#80C4.

2. The subscribed topic and message won't be queued in the array. For example, I subscribe topic/1, topic/2, and topic/3, and I wrote another python script to publish the same topic every 1 sec for each topic. Logically, the received message should be pushed into the 'ReceivedMessage' array one by one ultil the queue is full, then overwirte the very first one if there's a new one coming, however, it didn't work this way. The message always overwrites the first element in the array.

Is there any way to avoid that? Or is there any flag I can use to know if the subscribing topic is coming so that I can store it on my own DB before it's being overwritten.

I had the same problem. Two times (accidentally), I tried to drag and drop library FB of s7-1200 (in my case device was S7-1500) and that happend to me. Next time, when I drag and drop FB of s7-1500 everything was fine.
