Hi everyone and happy new year to you all..

As a new beginner to the PLC world, with a little programming knowedge, I wanted
to know if anyone have bought/tried out the S7-200 starterbox? Is it suitable for a newbie?

Is the software STEP7?

Ok I also think the starterbox is at a fair price for a newbie.

I have not worked with any of the S7 series, I only know that we have some
S7-200 at my work, and thats why I think it would be great to try out some sort
of a starterbox.

So the software STEP/Micro, you say it is much different from the Manger
software, but is it still capeable of FDB, LADDER, IL,ST the basics stuff.?

Also if I extend with an anolouge module to the plc, is the program workable
with analouge devices.?
