If you want a scaled voltage equivalent to the fairly accurate digital value inside the PLC (reading directly in the temperature scale of choice - C/F), here are a few options:

• Purchase an RTD signal conditioner that accepts the RTD(s) you are using and outputs a scaled voltage, like 0-10V = -100C to 1000C (I do not know RTD ranges, so picked random values).
• Use an analog output on the S7-1200 PLC to output a scaled analog voltage (which may require a resistor in parallel with the output if current mode is all you have)
• Ask your employer if they were thinking about thermocouples which produce a small voltage that changes linearly according to temperature (over certain ranges).  RTDs change their resistance linearly with the temperature (over their useful range), and has nothing to do with voltage
• Ask your employer why voltage output would be better than having the actual temperature in digital form directly from the RTD input module and avoid it completely

There are other ways, but those are not as common, and maybe some way are really jokes that your employer may not appreciate.

I have a temperature module Sb 1231 rtd and it is connected to s7-1200 and outputs values for example 206 that after conversion my code turns out 20.6, but how can I take out the readings in volts?
