Dear Sir I need another suggestion from you . Below is the problem that I am facing and any help from you will be highly appreciated : I am currently working on a commissioning project which has Wartsila Gas Generators . The Generators control system comprises of Engine Control ECU , which is named WECS ( Wartsila Engine Control System ) . This WECS is connected to S7-300 PLC and HMI is TP 27 . All the data is communicated/transferred via a single Profibus . Now our problem is that :- 1) The HMI is indicating a fault with a code ST 763 . This fault code is “ OVERSPEED “ . But actually the Engine is stopped now and so this error code ST 763 is false . 2) We want to find this fault code ST 763 which relates to : SURVITESSE ( OVERSPEED ) . How can we search or “ GO-TO “ in the S7 program ? 3) In the cross reference table or in the Blocks , how can we search for “ Survitesse “ or ST-763 CODE ? This code is being shown on the HMI via S7-300 PLC . Awaiting your reply . Thank you again in advance . ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

Hello faisal; I tend to agree with ixo65, the message you receive appears to be from the Wartsila generators in my view. An overspeed signal would come from a supervising software, and that would be part of the Wartsila controls. The Siemens PLC snd HMI can interface with these but they are not the main controls for the engines. Wecsplorer is described on Wartsila sites as a commissioning tool for Wartsila engines. Technical Bulletin Template - Wartsilä I suggest you get in touch with Wartsila support and ask them for help in your project. Alternatively, Wartsila also hosts a user forum, much as the Siemens forum, where you can check out discussions on Wecsplorer. https://wartsilausersgroup.com/forums/topic/wecsplorer/ Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
