Hi to all, I have a problem withComunication between WinCC 7.2 and S7-1500 cpu. In WinCC project i have configured the "SIMATIC S7-1200 S7-1500 Channel" as in the attached file. CPU side, i have only configured the IP addres, set the "full access (no protection)" in the cpu property, and unset the "Optimized block access" in the DB property that i want to read. When i start the runtime, the comunication stay disconnected and i dont knows why. The strange thing is: In the comunication manual, i read:"Select in the context menu of the channel unit "TCP / IP" the Newconnection. "This will open the dialogConnection Properties ". But, as you can see in the attached file, there is no one"TCP / IP" channel but only "OMS+" Could anyone help me. Thanks Alfredo. AttachmentBinder1.pdf (1656 Downloads) |

1. No i haven't change the name of access point. As i know, s7 protocol suite isn't suitable for s7 1200, for this reason i have chosen simatic s7-1200, s7-1500 channel. I tried with s7 protocol suite but it didn't work again. i saw in link below http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=92ylAUJ6ghQ and i did the same but nothing. i attached a photo with my all access point. 2. yes, Broadcom is a wireless interface. PlC is connected in a router. But i have tried to connect plc and my laptop with ethernet cable (Intel Gigabit interface in set pc/pg interface) but it didn't work.

Loukas, When the Access Point in the connection shown in the Configuration Studio is associated with a valid network connection in the the PG/PC Interface and you can PING the PLC from the WinCC computer, you should be connected. See the attachment. Goog Luck, billwest

HiAlfredo@as99 I have same problem like you. There is no one"TCP / IP" protocolbut only"OMS+" inThe "SIMATIC S7-1200, S7-1500 Channel" channel. Did you slove your problem? Could you tell me how to slove this problem? An other question is: Can i use IE General port instead CP 1612,CP1613, CP1512as recomments from siemens? CP1612 was discontinuation, so can I use CP1612A2 instead CP1612?

HI EVERYONE! Finally i solved it! I found the solution on this link: https://support.industry.siemens.com/tf/WW/en/posts/connection-between-pc-station-and-plc-s7-1500/122927?page=0&pageSize=10 On the PDF that i re-attach here and with the instructions of billwest. Really thx, if you need some help carefully read the attached pdf. A OPC was needed in order to communicate with 1500 and Panel PC.
