Hi hdhosseini, I don't understand your mean. Could you please explain more? If you meant to display this alarm on my Wincc, you are wrong, because I need to have an alarm in the field not in the control room. In other words, I want that plc senses this fault and make clear this alarm with a horn and flash in factory. This alarm tells local operators that we have no remote monitor over the process, so they need to control it manually. Regards |

Dear hdhosseini, How can I sense the change of m0.0 in my PLC regulary? Since you have suggested, infact, I must detect the frequency of M0.0 and I don't find a solution. Is it possible to send me a done project? Regards |

Dear r2407 As you tested the proposed method , and it is a trick and actually is not a systematic solution. But, I believe this is the easiest way to check communication from WINCC runtime to Ethernet connection and validity of module. Regards |

Hello ry_fern PLC_VAR is any variable in the PLC - like m0.0, or MD, or DB.., etc. I supposed that if a PLC tag has no connection so there is no connection with the PLC PLC_not_OK is a binnary internal tag - in WinCC PLC_Quality is an unsigned 16 bit internal tag. The value 128 (hexa 80) means "Good (noncascade) - OK - No error or special condition is associated with this value" You may see this other forum links: - tag monitoring in WinCC Explorer - Communication checking/Button clickability. Good Luck |
