Berkant Posts: 27 Rating: (0)	hi, i have almost same problem. wincc 6.0 was installed in my pc after i try to install wincc6.2. firstly i install sql 2005 without uninstall sql2000. when i install sql2005 its uninstall sql2000 and install finished. thaniinstall wincc6.2 without uninstall winnc6.0. afteriam continued to installpatch forwincc6.2 and simatic net for wincc6.2 . butwhen i try to open existing projectat wincc explorer it give me "Database context does not exist or is invalid"mesagge. what can i do?

Berkant Posts: 27 Rating: (0)	firstly thanks for yourimmediate information. i made migration before open wincc projects at wincc6.2. i also look for sended FAQ, still i can not solve my problem.there is anything else about my problem? it is urgent tome because i should finish that project. and when i try to create new project there is error :"Error: Project is not created!"

Have you re-started the computer, and tried creating a new project again? Do you have any other Siemens software on that computer? Anyway... Please post your diagnose folder here... Danielle Posts: 1275 Rating: (123)	Hi, You could uninstall it, and make sure yuo have installed the version of licence manager which comes in the WinCC v6.2 CD, which is the WinCC version you'll use. Best regards, Danielle

Berkant Posts: 27 Rating: (0)	hello again! i uninstalled sql2005 and wincc6.2 but the same problem continued.. also during installation of sql 2005 there was errors! (35% of installation) 1. Microsoft SQL server 2005 setup was unable to install on your computer. Microsoft SQL server 2005 has encoutered a problem and will end. 2.severe ...nothing but after there was warning like: setup is finishedandyes, i eant to restart now! i restarted pc and continue to install wincc 6.2.. what can i do?
