The Desigo Insight Management Station provides backward compatibility only. This means that e.g. Desigo Insight V5.1 supports all the old controller versions (V2.37, V4.0, …, but not the newer versions (V6.0).

The only exception to the above statement is the Desigo Insight V5.1 Servicepack 2 with Hotfix H39. Installing Hotfix H39 allows to support the Desigo PX controller firmware V6.0 and DRA V1.2. This hotfix really works!!! It helped me to import a v.6 PXC controller in Desigo v5.

we downgrade it with firmware download tools . we insert a data on the  firmware tools software after that downgrade it .

first I'm sorry that i've missed this thread, so it is probably too late for everybody

But, there is a way how to downgrade PXC software between versions. It is not easy, but it takes less time as make the program from scratch. There is no problem to downgrade from 6.0 -> 5.1 -> 5.0 -> 4.0 -> 2.37. It depends on used program blocks, if they do not exist in target FW version, it is necessary to reprogram it for example: the SelBOBO block is new from FW5.0

I've wrote this, because i did not like so arrogant claims, that it is not possible.

Hint: I found the way by comparing XWP project before and after forward-conversion...
