F0003, can only be a poor power supply. By increasing the boost values this has increased to supply the load. The metering pump sounds like it is a constant torque device so this will be sensitive to increase of boost Voltages, in P1610, P1611. Have you fitted a line choke in the supply to the VSD, this will make the situation worse? Is the supply Voltage, on all three phases, within limits whilst delivering full load? If this is a supply problem try to fix it as soon as possible, because the VSD input stage will be working very hard, it may possibly damage the input stage/DC link. Can you see any discoloured/hot cable connections in the supply to the VSD? Are all 3 phases good? |

Dear, I may suggest you the following parameters. for This application.
And at low frequency, you can apply (cont. Boost)P1310, Acceleration boost P1311,and starting boost p1312. Your Ramp up and ramp down is sufficient considering the amount of load you are handling. With present settings you are pumping a higher amount of current ,this will reduce significantly. And even your dc link wont drop down(if it is not a problem of line supply) With present situation when you increased the cont. boost from 50% to 100%(p1610) , drive demanded full load current from line. This should cause a over current alarm . But as Mr. Tractor suggested a problematic line supply can cause voltage dips and subsequently the Under voltage Tip. Hence please

Thanks a lot. I put an attachment which describles the pump's working principle. The source of voltage is healthy. I don't know what is VSD. Can you explain it? Attachmentbl-104-l_novados.pdf (388 Downloads) |

I wonder Is such pump (as shown in last attachment pdf file)suitable for P0205=1 and P1300=2?And howto set P1310, P1311 and P1312 at low frequency to start a heavy load? |

OOps it is a positive dispalcement Pump and Need to commissoined with SLVC. |

So it means P1300=20 is right? |

Apologies, VSD stands for 'Variable Speed Drive', this is the Micromaster Inverter Drive. |

As Mr. Tractor Pointed out, It is clear now that F003 in this case is just because of Poor line supply. So better you monitor DC link voltage as well as the AC input supply.

Dear sir I have same experience of this. It's nothing to do with the P1610. I suppestion you use the P1300 =20 and execute P1960 to tune the load. and P1240 Vdc control set to 3. Don't forget set correct value of the P210. P1254 set to 0 disable the DCvoltage auto detect function. Try it ! may be useable for you. |

Hi, this pump is a positive displacement pump so Constant Torque. The VSD refered to stands for Variable Speed Drive, apologies. Have you had any results with this problem? |

The pump isrunningon P1300=20,P1610=100,P1611=0 since Apr.12. I don't know when the fault happens again. I'm on the anxious seat! During fault F003, If line supply as well as DC Link By the way, about "P1254 set to 0 disable the DCvoltage auto detect function." it is for over voltage? Can it disable under voltage? |

So bad news! I have changed the inverter MM440. The new one ran from 9:00 May 20. And it trippped at 8:15 May 21 with fault message F0003. Less than 24hours. What can I do? |
