I am trying to connect my laptop win10-64bit my 226cpu with an mpi cable 6es7972-0cb20-0xa0 

but i got te erros specified acces point not found. i already googled it but can not find a working solution

can somebody help me

Step7 MicroWin sp9 must be installed.

Best is that you used Windows XP Based laptop with builtin Serial port option. Then installed Step7 Microwin SP9. then run Microwin program and u can easily online.

to be clear, you don't need serial port computer. You need Siemens MicroWin SW for configuration and programming. Your PC Adapter is with USB interface on PC side and can work with XP and Win7 x32/x64 OS, so problem is your Win10 which is not supported. After install MicroWin SW you have also needed drivers installed for adapter. MicroWin SW isn't free so you need buy it.

i have already have installed microwin 4.0 sp  is this the same ? then in gonna try to install it on my old laptop with Windows 7

yes, but that mentioned version 4.0 with SP9.

i installed windows 7 at my old laptop and microwin v4.0 sp9

i used alot of settings in pg/pc setup but it still isnot working

my plc has power and is in stop mode i tried port 0 and 1. i got usb driver v8.2

the mpi,power , and usb are all full green

the errors i got are :

-port could not be opend or is being used by another application

-communication time-out check port nummer, network address, baud rate, and the attached cable

can someone give met the corrert setting or some things is have to check

you need make tests with different communication settings, no other way. In PG/PC interface you can have only some protocol options depended to your Adapter (MPI/PPI/Profibus) so start with each and set other communication settings (for most cases speed can be different). Make tests, it will take much time, but without tests you can't be lucky.

hope it's clear to you what you need set in PG/PC interface, but can you post screehshot of that screen in PG/PC interface where you can see that selections of protocols? Also highlight what you have select primary. Simply you need select only PC Adapter options, not other. Your info about 126 not recognized CPUs point probably to not good functionality of Adapter. Did you test that adapter before with success? What about that CPU?
