Hi friend,

           My friend before buy a new Siemens logo! USB cable i install Logo V8.2 update  on my desktop pc on V5.0 and i installed windows XP on this pc then communicate with serial Logo cable directly with my pc COM port with OBA6 PLC  and found no problem with it.

            My dear friend when i install this software (Logo V8.2) on windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit OS then this Software not communicate with OBA6 PLC what is the problem? My Logo serial cable is ok.

Known Problems

1.Communication errors can occur if you operate LOGO! hardware withLOGO!SoftComfort on MS-Windows Plug-and-Play operating systems. To solve this problem, proceed as follows to reduce the length of the FIFO buffer for the COM port as much as possible:

1)Click Properties, and select the Port Settings tab.

2)Click Advanced, and then set both Receive Buffer and Send Buffer to Low.

Are you sure with the selection of the right com port number ? Have you also selected a Logo6 in the hardware settings ? That will do, if the cable and the controller is okay.

Otherwise check another com port if available or try with another notebook or PC.

              I selected correct hardware OBA6 and select Logo! Cable in interface but i am getting same error message ''Unable to connect the IP address com 1''

              With this same laptop com port communication with my Modicon Controller is ok and working normal but why its not working with logo PLC.

             My logo cable and Logo PLC is 100% ok i have checked them to communicate with my desktop pc Installed windows XP on it and I have installed Logo soft lsc v8.2 sp1 on it.

Sorry, but i have no further help or other tips. You always write, that you have all tested, but you don't give any details of your hardware settings or the communication dialog. Maybe we can see something, if you upload some pictures in ZIP file, hardware settings of Logosoft, communication dialog of Logosoft, hardware settings of COM ports in device manager, amount of COM ports and so on.

Which 0BA6 do you have ? There are different models to select in Logosoft, 0BA6 Standard, 0BA6 ES3, OBA6 ES10, if i remember correct.
