Hallo!

This is my first time on using a tempertaure PID control in TIA Portal.  Until now I used to work with S7 V5.x with TCONT function.

Well... now...

If I simulate PID_Compact on a s7-1500 CPU, in PLCSIM, it works pretty well!

If I simulate PID_Compact on a S7-1200 CPU, in PLCSIM, it doesn'work.But If a transfer code to a real s7-1200 CPU, the same program I try to simulate... it works pretty well!

I noticed the same behavior with others system function (SINA_SPEED). For example, if I try to simulate a G120C Sinamics converter it doesn't works. If I transfer the same code into a real s7-1200 CPU it works.

Is there any chance to make it possibile?

You are right, PLCSIM V13 SP1 is not capable of execute PID blocks for S7-1200 like PID_Compact.This is what I also noticed.Perhaps this is case that can be solved in future updates.You can also contact people in support request and ask them for the alternate solution.My own alternative solution is using actual hardware or using my own numeric PID block.

Just a small update on the topic. Problem still exists in V14.

 Still exist in V14 SP1 too !

i also faced this problem , that is so depressed   because i tried and tried until i know that pid v2.2 doesn't work in SIM V13 SP1
