delete all tmp/TEMP folders

to update the licence from V12 -> V13 you need only the Licence Manage, the Old Licence and the Update licence, no other SW Package needed.

An the Licence contain nothing for Startdrive ! So why you install Startdrive V13 ?

Here is print screens of all of the programs on my PG. attached documents.

I only have the upgrade licence from V11..V12..->V13 for Simatic WinnCC Advance and Simatic Step 7 Professional.

That's why I assumed that V12 still need to be installed for V13 to be accepted for the upgrade license.

I'll uninstall V12 and try to load V13  only to see if it makes any difference.

I'll keep you posted.

 hi Stephan,

you only need the V12-License for upgrading it to V13-License with the Upgrade-License. 

The software would be installed seperately. You don´t need the V12-installation for this. 

Try to delete all temp-files and try the FAQ 

How do you uninstall STEP 7 (TIA Portal) completely?

to deinstall V12.

The reason why I started with SINAMICS startdrive V13 is because I recieved the software with the upgrade license.

You guys are really a big help I'll give it a go and will keep you definitely keep you posted on the results.

Ok bad news it did not worked.

I followed the instructions to the letter on how to delete all the TIA V12 files and then i also try to install only TIA V13 but keeps on giving me the same error.

I then also try to run administrator or even trouble shoot on the run program for compatibility check.

Any thing else  that you think that could have a influence on the C:/windows/installer/
