See attached Dec PS Additional questions please post in quiz part 2 (S7 address parser) [;)] If you get error 0x11F (USER_BUFFER_TOO_SHORT) with read szl, var read and var write change s7rdszl.dwSzlSize in ReadSzl.fct, s7rdvarr(w).dwResBufSize in TestVarRead/Write.fct with ex 0x100. I still have to figure out how these sizes are setup correct. With PLCSim you can have this size 0 but I tested with a 414-3 and came back with this error [:(] unless you estimate a size bigger then what it's coming back. See attached Ok I figure out what values need to be setup for BufferSize field: You can freely enter MAX_S7RDVSIZE (65535) because the S7Dos Server just checks if the user has enough space for the return data.
