read the serial number of memory card from H CPUs

Hi dearSte39 Yes, with both SSL_IDs W#16#031C and W#16#011C, 8083 error code appears. I test other index numbers (1,2,3,4,5,7) for SSL_ID W#16#031C and they work good, but when I use the 8 index umber, this error code appears!

DearUMENCHO Version of my MC is 6. but properties of my CPU is : CPU 414-4H with firm ware 4.3. Do you say that the version of my CPU is lower for reding the serial number of MC? Please send me your source address. With regards

Yes, the firmware version is not as required one. That info you can find at above mentioned FAQ andSIMATIC Fault-tolerant systems S7-400Has well. Best regards, Hristo Mihalev

Hi dearhdhosseini My CPU's properties is : CPU 414-4 H with firm ware 4.3. I used SFC 51 with SSL_ID W#16#031C and index W#16#0008 for read the serial number of MC from my CPU. I test the other SSL_IDs(11C,21C) but the result is same and the 8083 error code appears. Snapshot from my project is impossible for me, because it's location is so far from me! Thanks.

Your fimrware version of CPU seems is not compatible with that function. As mentioned in the other thread.
