Despite of it, I think that should be nice to give an initial step with a very simple example. TIPs: Device configuration The HSC configuration is defined on the Device Configuration, CPU properties, High seepd Counters In our example, HSC1 was enabled, for simple counting: High speed counter (HSC)1: 1- Checked: &the number of HSC changes). Hello, thanks a lot dear Pegaia your tips are always complete enough.although there is no PLCSIM available for s7-1200 you can use this simple circuite(attached) to be sure whether the HSC works or not..the out put frequency depends on C1 and R2 (check it first in Proteus) EX: C1 =1UF , R2 1K === F=658 Hz with regards Mojtaba.Sahraean Attachment Capture.jpg (1804 Downloads)

May the counter take that value as starting value. In my program not happened like that at all time,. My counter retain value for some time and not for some another time. value is retained in time interupt ob and moved in start up ob at all.but not retained at all. Please help me.

EhsanGh Posts: 11 Rating: (0)	Dear Mr. Pegia, I read your post and saw your example,I wonder If you explain how we can reset the counter as fast as we can because as you can see in attached file I reset the ounter just before the execution of HSC network but sometimes the count vlue will be greater than desired value.(The ecoder pulse each 110 ms and program cycle is 24 ms).
