Dear all

I am developing a project for a TP700 Comfort panel. The panel runtime version is V17, but I am engineering the project in TIA Portal V19.

I want to generate a CSV file from a VB script on the panel using:

Set f = CreateObject("FileCtl.File")
f.Create "\Storage Card USB\myfile.csv"
f.Write "test line"
f.Close

On the panel I get the error:
“Object doesn’t support this property or method” when attempting to create the object.

From older documentation and forum threads I understand that it is necessary to install the Optional Package “Script Control / File Control” (ScriptControl.hmiopc or FileControl.hmiopc) via ProSave to enable FileCtl.* on Comfort Panels.
With the TIA Portal V19 installation media there is no WinCC\HMI\OptionalPackages folder and no .hmiopc files. It seems Siemens removed these Optional Packages starting with V19.

Since my panel is still running runtime V17, I would like official clarification on:

1. Can I install the “Script Control / File Control” optional package using the TIA Portal V17 ISO (which still contains the .hmiopc files) and continue to engineer the project in V19?
2. Is there an official download link for just that Optional Package for V17 without reinstalling the whole version?
3. Can Siemens confirm that in Runtime V19 this functionality is permanently removed?

Any official guidance or procedure would be very helpful.

Already verify this code and also i test a very simple code to verify the function FileCtl and the problem always is same. this post is from 2015 so my question is if in tia portal v15 and tp700 work under this version because in my version is not possible to work…. other question if is possible to add the .dll for this fucntion or any alternative
