WinAC & ethernet port

charlesm Advanced Member Joined: 10/6/2005 Last visit: 2/26/2024 Posts: 44 Rating: (0)	I am using WinAC RTX on my box PC627. It has 2 ethernet ports. I don't see a way to set these ports up in the hardware config. Can I use these ports in WinAC RTX or do I need to add an ethernet card?

You can use the 'IE General' from the Hardware Catalog (from SIMATIC PC Station -> CP Industrial Ethernet -> IE General -> 'Your installed SOFTNET S7 Version, e.g. V6.2 SP1'). But you are not able to use 'IE General' on the 'IF1-4' slots of the WinAC RTX. On these slots you can only use a CP 5611 or CP 5613.
