HMI Comfort Print and move a Report

aleb2 Experienced Member Joined: 7/12/2006 Last visit: 4/10/2025 Posts: 134 Rating: (0)	TP900 Comfort GMP, I need to print (PDF) a Report with alarm log and Audit trail log: A PDF printer saves the report on SD Card\folder and this file is moved to a PC folder using "HMIOption manager" (i cannot use WinCC system function because it uses SMB1) I use WINCC system functions stop logging (datalog, alarm log, and audit trail log), after 5s close all logs, after 5s print report, after 40s open all logs and after 5s start logging (datalog, alarm log, and audit trail log) The problems are: Audit trail log it is not printed and this message is printed "there was an error during access to \Storage Card SD\AuditTrail2\AuditTrail0.csv.The procedure was cancelled" Sometimes the layout of the report is not correct or it does not come out as it should be. Could you please explain if there is something wrong in my input or any other reason you could find? Thank you in advance, best wishes.

I am facing the same issue right now, I would like to generate a PDF using PrintReport and then send it to a network drive using the HMIOption+ for printing purposes. Cordially

Cordially Hello So what have you done so far? Did you get managed to print the PDF already? Use a Report and a Button in your HMI to ceate the pdf file, this should work straight forward. Unfortunately there is not ready event or similar with which you can synchronize your copy job to the netshare. you can also try to pint directly on the networkshare but then you have to use SMB1.0 and the conventional integration of the networkshare. https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/92346478 Bye Murof
