i have a simplex SCADA connected to CPU 1515R-2PN as shown in the attached system block diagram, and i want to use the software redundancy, I implemented everything mention in the link including the script and edited it to my connection name. Before i do the test this is the State of the program: 1) @PLC1@ConnectionState is 1 2) @PLC1@ForceConnectionState is 1 3) @PLC1@ConfiguredAddress & @PLC1@AlternativeAddress & @PLC1@CurrentAddress are all correct. Then I disconnect the ethernet cable between the Primary PLC X2 Port and the ethernet switch, this is what happens: 1) @PLC1@ConnectionState becomes 0 2) @PLC1@ForceConnectionState becomes 0 2) @PLC1@UseAlternativeAddress becomes 1 3) @PLC1@ForceConnectionState becomes 1 4) @PLC1@CurrentAddress becomes the alternative address but the Wincc doesn’t connect to the secondary PLC even though the connection is established and I can ping it. I was wondering if there is another missing step im not doing.

Hi Yahya97, Did you get the solution for this? I'm also trying the same S7-400H CPU withTIA 19 wincc professtional. I can able to read the values of @<...>@ForceConnectionState & @<...>@ConnectionState but for the @PLC1@ConfiguredAddress & @PLC1@AlternativeAddress & @PLC1@CurrentAddress I'm not able to read the values. Is there any syntax i have to use? can you share your testing backup.
