List Posts: 664 Rating: (18)	Hai All, In Siemens MicroMaster series the freequency setting range is 0-650Hz i have read. Is it possible to rotate the induction motor upto 650Hz.?? What are the application that using high freequency rotation ?? I want to know about the freequency setting,effects of these changes,applications. Please give documents/link for know about this.. Technology Team Platinum Expert Joined: 10/11/2006 Last visit: 12/22/2025 Posts: 6062 Rating: (828)	Hello, I do not know the MicroMaster technology but by Sinamcis it depends of controller mode (vector, servo, U/f), motor poles and puls frequencyyou could achieve a frequency range up to 1333Hz. Example: 1PH8083-1.Mwith fn = 102Hzand 3000rpm => 102Hz 60s / 3000rpm = 2 poles pair 20.000upm / 60s 2 poles pair= 666Hz Reachable n max: 4KHz (pulse frequency) / 6 (support points) =666Hz (encoderless) If you decrease the clock pulse you could reach higher frequencys. Applications would be e.g.machine tools spindle drives.

For example several application that have a winder or unwinder. Especially if theraw productis a relatively light product the winder rpm may be very high when there is little product on the drum or spool (i.e. the center core device that is used to wrap or unwrap the product). Also, in fiber spinning lines for making man made fibers there are light weight winders that require very highmotor rpm. Deputy
