I think there is also a manual in English, if I find it I'll send you. http://www.ad.siemen...ge.aspx?id=6861 S7 200 CN and S7-200 Smart are being sold by Siemens in India ( I believe,also many other parts of Asia ). Unfortunately support for these products is non existent in theSiemens ADSupport website ( Only available in the China Website ). Besides this, we have plenty of Machines being imported from China into many other countries with these products ( At least in Asia and Africa ). I think that SIEMENS must provide support for these products in A&D support website for these products. I have seen many customers struggling due to lack easy availability of manuals , FAQs , software updates etc . Cheers Navnag

When you buy a machine from China you should also adopt a Chinese with the machine. In this way you will have all the support you need. You can then sit back and relax. [smile] w

As of now, the only way to get the software / manuals is to get in touch with your Siemens Contact partner. It is available from them. As far as I know, no download is available. William B. When you buy a machine from China you should also adopt a Chinese with the machine. In this way you will have all the support you need. You can then sit back and relax. That way we will have Millions of Chinese swarming all over by now .. Jokes apart ... Users in china have access to online support of these products ... but as I said before, Siemens is selling these products in countries other than China ( e.g. India ) but no online support is available. Personally I have never used these but many customer have these installed .. all over Cheers Navnag

Especially the Indian and Chinese market have products like these. It is the only way that you can even make a dent in those markets because of all the competition that you have. (Think about mass production.) Money that is pushed into a product to strengthen its support, eats away on the profits. The countries outside India and China are not suppose to use or have the low profit products - these countries demand for (high expense) support is too big. For OEMs (Orginal Equipment Manufacturers) it is a mixed batch. Using less costly components would be nice, but then in the eyes of equipment buyers there are no differences between machines made by them or those from China. If a client has problems with a machine from China, it gives some hope for others to come in and make some money from the situation. - - careful what you wish for.. you might get it and not like the end result. w

Well... putting the Manuals and software downloads on the website is probably the least expensive way to provide basic support .. if these are available for Chinese OEMs who are free to export these all over the world ... it would be in everyone's interest that these are easily available.
