Sir, 

I have tried to applied the settings which you mentioned below and it is working. The motor speed reduces but it donot trip. 

I face few problems one is how to enter value of P2801. 3, i didnot find this. 

Secondly, i want to make my motor stop if the overcurrent is reached. 

Can you share your valueable help on this one.

Dear All,

As MM440 by default will reduce the Speed rather than Tripping on overcurrent after reaching current limit set in P640, so many times it is required that drive should be Trip as soon as it reaches Limit set by us

Here is one method I normally use for this. It will give External Trip fault (F085)

P2170 - Set Current Limit
P2171 - Set Time for tripping after reaching limit set in P2170 (time in ms)
P2800 - 1 Enable Free Block
P2801.3 - 1 Enable NOT gate
P2828 - 53.3 invert signal for External Trip
P2106 - 2829 - Will give external Trip

This settings will trip drive on F085 as soon as time elapsed as set in P2171 after current reached as set in P2170

I have tried you method as well. The motor get slow but it donot completwly stop. 

I want once this overcurrent value is acbieved the motor automatically shutoff. 

Kindly help me out in this matter.

I thought following is suffice to trip drive in case of overcurrent:

P305=Motor current from motor name plate.

P610=1

P640=100

P290=1
