I have a CP50M0 communication processor in TDC Rack UR6221 and created a profibus network on X1 port of CP. I added all Siemens devices in profibus line by using Com Profibus but i need to add one ABB ACS800-17 Driver too in this configuration. There is a RBPA-01 profibus adaptor on ABB drive to communicate with TDC. I downloaded GSD file for RBPA-1 Adaptor and move it to file where all gsd files of siemens devices are placed for Com Profibus program. Unfortunately i couldn't see RBPA-1 adaptor in device list in Com Profibus. How should i add a GSD file of any device into Com Profibus Device List? It was easy in Simatic Manager but it isn't in Com Profibus.

Have a look at these extracts from the ComProfibus v5.1 manual, see the screenshot below.

Once you have placed the new gsd file in the correct directory (with all the existng gsd files), you must open the File menu and command "Read in GSD Files". Only then will the Profibus slave catalog be updated.

I coppied and pasted gsd file of ABB RBPA-1 adaptor directly. I think it is my mistake. I'll read the documentation and try again with your recommendation.
