I have also PG740 and i see in manual: "You can connect the PG 740 to a SIMATIC S5 programmable controller via the COM1/TTY interface port. The cable for establishing the connection to the SIMATIC S5 CPUs is included with the PG 740. (Order No. 6ES5734-2BF00)"
