EA 608 error on Simodrive 611U

WBautomation Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	We are facing a problem in simodrive. When we are trying to start the servo motor, drive showing a fault as "E A 608". Somebody guide us what is the cause of this problem?

Rejjal Advanced Member Joined: 7/5/2009 Last visit: 6/27/2024 Posts: 76 Rating: (8)	Solved I had same problem it was damaged power module I repaired power module it's problem was IGBT single driver ic damaged, photo below In this case it's better to replace gate drive optocoupler ic as well My advice: 1. Make sure that no real overcurrent or block on the motor 2. Swap power module 3. If fault disappeared repair damaged power module Good luck Rejjal Attachment Power module board .jpg (329 Downloads)
