The QAF65.6AR data sheet contains the information about IP protection class. The IP (ingress protection) class provides this information. The QAF65.6AR IP is 65 rated. The meaning of the second number “5” is:  “water projected by a nozzle (6.3 mm (0.25 in)) against enclosure from any direction shall have no harmful effects”.

This means that the sensor is suitable for your application.
