Hello Experts!

A happy New Year to all.

I have uploaded the parameter file from a Micromaster 440 via a USB-to-Serial adaptor attached to my PG M5, Windows 7 Ultimate. That worked fine, but the download to a new (identical) Micromaster 440 failed. See picture attached! I can seen on the PG as well as on the front display of the inverter, that some parameters have made it through the download, even though, ultimately, it ended with an error. Needless to say, that the drive also does not work as before or at all. The "Help" file points into the direction of "Write protection - p7760". I cannot find this parameter, even in the "Expert list". I've run out of things to try; hence this post.

Any help would be very welcome.

Thank you for your advice. I will try to get the parameters from a working drive as you suggested. I have, however, done an upload from this working drive already. This is the backup I was trying and failing to install into the new drive. I'll update this thread shortly...

The parameters, you've mentioned were indeed a match between the backup project and the new drive, as these seem to be the factory settings.

The download still wouldn't work, but we found a workaround: We extracted the settings from a working drive again, this time using the "Drive Monitor" software. We then attempted the download to the new drive with this. This didn't work, but the errors that were returned were very helpful indeed. We then used to "Starter" software again for the download, but set the implicated parameter values of p3, p10 & p927 to 4, 0 & FH respectively. Then the download was successful.
