I have a single-phase S210 drive in my hand. I am unable to connect to the drive. The drive is giving a "The DC Link voltage is too low" error. I attempted to access it via the web server, and although I can connect, the connection is lost after 1 or 2 minutes. I tried to connect with STARTER for a more detailed analysis, but I couldn't establish a connection with it either. There is also a photo related to this. Attached are the details about the drive and the error information that occurred.

Can you assist please with this?

Sinamics S210 is not supported by Starter, you need Startdrive version V16 or higher. Unfortunatelly your drive has firmware V5.1, Startdrive support S210 from firmware V5.2. Actual version and instructions for update are here.

If you don't use braking resitor, you must have jumper between DCP and R1 terminals on X1 connector. Check it in operating instructions. Without this jumper drive doesn't precharge DC-link.

you can use standart SD card, but with max. capacity 2GB. Than you copy contents of uploaded archive to card. Switch off the drive, insert SD card and switch on the drive. Update process takes several minutes, wait till both LEDs flash red in 1Hz. Than switch drive off, remove card and start drive again. Drive should be updated, if not try whole process again.
