1st of all PG is a PC, any communication need software, you did not say what is your SW? 

2nd SIMODRIVE 611 Family had 3 kinds of control --611A,611D, and 611U

so your control board 6SN1118-0DM33-0AA0 IS NO POSSIBLE COMMUNICATION WITH PG. 

6SN1118-ODM33-0AA0 is 611D control, it is only communicate with 840D NCU

Hope you can post picture to show what is SW. and show picture of your control card, may be you post a wrong number?

 I cannot answer your questions, as there are many mistakes .from the picture I see you have 840D system, NCU use drive bus connecting 611D . you cannot direct access 611D, you must through HMI (PCU50 or MMC103 ) 

also 840D and 611D don't need , cannot use SIMO COM U

 I told you 611D cannot use SIMO COM U. if you want to understand 840D and 611D, you need download "SINUMERIK 840D, 611D Start Up Manual"  to read carefully. See my attached picture:

what I draw red line, between NCU and 611D there is drive bus transfer drive data, from NUC to PCU50 there is MPI cable --continue transfer drive data to PCU50, you can read drive data, or change (password protected), you can back up drive data to PCU50 save data into HDD.

so from beginning you did not have good idea. so your question should be No question if you can understand my this writing
