 in Siemens forum, we DO NOT discuss 3rd party HW or SW.

I suggest you contact you local Siemens sales team inform them your request they will give your solution and order list.

Then they will suggest you how to get "turn key project" 

If you want to DIY , you need ask them to have basic training 

one simple idea in SINAMICS S120  you need a control unit call CU320 AND THE SW for Set up call "Starter" (NOT SIMO COM U)

Hi experts.

I have a problem and glad if you can help me on it.

I have a system controlled by BECKHOFF TWINCAT V2.9 running on windows NT. in this system there is 7 motion control  Axis. the drives are BECKHOFF AX2000 MOTION CONTROL DRIVES communicating IPC with Light Bus (FC200x) and the distributed module are also communicated with Light Bus. All of my servo motors are SEW, but if needed I can change them to siemens servo's

As you surely know, the AX2000 drives are out of production for some years, So I wanted to replace them with SINAMICS S120  double motor modules controlled by CU320-2DP ,with communicating protocol of Profi-Bus (I can add Profi-Bus card FC3102) is it possible?

if its possible is there any manual for how I can do that?

AS I see in system manager of TWINCAT 2.9 there is ProfiDrive MC 'S (picture 1)  (as I saw before in other projects, these ProfiDrives used for SIMODRIVE U , can I use them here for Sinamics S120 ??).
